Dubai Express LLC is the 11th ESEA winner of Smart Services Award for Clearance Services – Customs Broker

Dubai, 24 February 2019 - In line with the Smart Government initiative and the completion of its deadline announced by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to make all the services available through smart platforms, as well as the Year of Innovation, the ESEA since its 9th edition took another turn with a brand new theme focused on transformation in mobile smart services and innovation. In the 11th cycle of the ESEA, six winners will be rewarded according to their mobile and online transactions across key services provided by DP World, Dubai Customs, and Jebel Ali Free Zone throughout the year.

Winners in the six award categories are nominated based on total number of transactions conducted on both online and using their smartphone throughout 2018.

Dubai Express LLC was one among the top 5 companies and four of our users were among the first 10 users award of the Smart Workplace Platform.

Dubai Customs launched the Smart Workplace Platform, the latest innovative initiative that comes as part of Dubai Customs’ efforts to materialize the vision and directives of the UAE wise leadership in instilling innovation as a fixed approach and a daily practice in order to achieve the move towards a full smart government following the directives of Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The new smart workplace aims at turning traditional services into a unique user experience that reduces time and cost and accelerates the process of finalizing declarations using a number of smart and innovative tools and characteristics. The new smart workplace will accelerate the process of finalizing customs declarations and reduce the time from 4 to 5 minutes instead of 20 to 40 minutes.

Dubai Customs Awarded the heaviest users during the Smart Workspace official launch on 28th November.

Dubai Customs awarded the first ten users and the top five companies in Dubai using the Smart Workplace since its launch in May until November. They were awarded with Dubai Customs memorial shield and appreciation letters.
